Khalistani Leader!! Ripudaman Singh Malik

On September 20, 2023, Ripudaman Singh Malik, a Sikh activist and businessman convicted of murder in connection with the 1985 Air India bombing, was shot to death in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. The killing has sparked outrage and calls for justice from the Sikh community.

Malik was one of two men convicted of first-degree murder for the bombing of Air India Flight 182, which killed all 329 people on board. The bombing was the deadliest terrorist attack in Canadian history. Malik was released on parole in 2010 and has continued to be a vocal advocate for the Khalistan movement, which seeks to establish an independent Sikh homeland in India.

The killing of Malik has been condemned by the Sikh community and by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Trudeau said in a statement that the killing was "a senseless act of violence" and that he was "deeply saddened by the loss of life."

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is investigating the killing and has not yet released any suspects. However, IHIT has said that the killing is believed to be targeted and that the motive is still under investigation.

The killing of Malik has raised concerns about the safety of Sikhs in Canada. The Sikh community has a long history of being targeted for violence, both in Canada and in India. In 2015, a white supremacist shot and killed six Sikh worshippers at a gurdwara in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.

The killing of Malik has also raised concerns about the rise of extremism in Canada. In recent years, there has been an increase in hate crimes targeting Muslims, Jews, and other minority groups. The killing of Malik is a reminder that extremism is a threat to all Canadians.

The Sikh community is calling for a thorough investigation into the killing of Malik and for justice to be served. The Sikh community also wants the Canadian government to take steps to protect Sikhs from violence and to address the root causes of extremism.
